The University of Melbourne Department of Medicine undertakes basic, clinical and applied research in a range of areas. The ultimate goal for our research is to improve the treatment of human disease. As a Clinical Department, we ensure our research is driven by clinically relevant questions and that it is designed to discover better therapies.
